It's a traditional church celebration typical in rural areas but with the added colours of the local rifle guards and local Alpine melodies.

  • In this chapel which was built in 1790 by Hans Tockner, known as Haswa, you will find a wooden, painted crucifixion scene consisting of Jesus on the cross with the two thieves and below them John, Mary und Magdalena. When the new school house here was built in 1968 these figures had to make way for more modern sculptures. In 1982 Max Gröller the local forester had the group of figures restored and managed to get them put back in their former place. Their final resting place is now this chapel which was renovated in 2011.
